As well as that I also got the Dennis and Gnasher Annual 2011, which is fantastic, nearly every page is drawn by Tom Paterson making it a treat to read! There's also The Beano and Dandy Comic Heroes 2011 which is pretty good but I've sadly read most of the stories...

And off the subject of DC Thomson and onto another famous character, I was lucky enough to have also got the Andy Capp Annual 2011, which features old strips in colour by Roger Mahoney and Roger Kettle. A guaranteed read and a great laugh!
